- Blueberries (one or two, they’re small enough to be bite-sized for most cresties)
- Banana (very small amount, high sugar)

The Birthday Cricket
The birthday event is a single live cricket (appropriate size, no larger than the distance between the gecko’s eyes). Crested geckos are primarily frugivores but they eat insects opportunistically, and a live cricket triggers visible hunting behavior that the fruit paste doesn’t.
