Jumping Spider Birthday Treats and Gifts: What to Feed and What to Buy for the Birthday Feast

Jumping spider birthdays are a genuine niche within the jumping spider keeping community. Jumping spiders are famous for making direct eye contact with cameras. This is real, their large principal eyes detect the lens and they orient toward it with evident curiosity. A jumping spider looking directly into a macro lens is the signature shot of the hobby.

• Get to the spider’s eye level (get on the ground if needed)
• Have a fly or prey item behind the camera lens to attract attention
